1) Most sellers offer a reasonable return and refund policy. Make sure to check for a seller's return policy before you bid. If the seller has not provided a return policy, get clarification via email.
2) The amount shown as the value for "Currently" on a listing is the acual current bid price for the item. It changes each time a bidder submits a bid.
3) On items over 9, Buyer's Credit is now being automatically offered to buyers in the USA only. Just click the link when you buy something for more than 9 and you will be taken through the application process, which includes a 30-second check on your credit history. Then you just go through the buying process as normal, and you get your item before you've paid a penny.
4) You might find that there are times when you should leave the Buy it Now button as a last resort: it can be a useful way of ending last-minute contests with a decisive 'this is mine' gesture.
5) Your reputation as a buyer (or 'feedback rating') is the most important thing people see when they deal with you on eBay.
Over the years, eBay has introduced all sorts of different auction types, in an effort to give people more options when they buy and sell their things on eBay. Millions of collectibles, appliances, computers, furniture, equipment, vehicles, and other miscellaneous items are listed, bought, and sold daily.
A Tidbit of eBay History:
In November 1996, eBay entered into its first third-party licensing deal, with a company called Electronic Travel Auction to use SmartMarket Technology to sell plane tickets and other travel products.
