1) Exclude words in your search: Put a minus, and then put any words in brackets that you don't want to appear in your search results. For example: "Pulp Fiction" -(poster,photo) will find items related to Pulp Fiction but not posters or photos.
2) Each time you buy or sell something on eBay, people can leave feedback for you, and you can leave feedback for them.
3) A good strategy is to always buy a few things at once from the same buyer, as they will almost always offer you a discount on the postage.
4) While eBay don't have many people handling complaints, they do have a relatively effective set of automatic process to handle common problems buyers and sellers have with one another.
5) If the item you are viewing has unclear pictures, email the seller and ask them for better pictures.
The company's current business strategy includes increasing revenue by increasing international trade within the eBay system. Over the years, eBay has introduced all sorts of different auction types, in an effort to give people more options when they buy and sell their things on eBay.
