1) Either/or in your search: If you want to search for lots of words at once, just put them in brackets: the TV example from earlier could become '(TV,television)', which would find items with either word.
2) When you have problems with a transaction, you should take it up with the seller - most will be responsive, as do not want to have their reputation damaged when an upset buyer leaves negative feedback for all their future buyers to see.
3) While disliked by many eBay users, sniping is not against eBay rules, and is, in many cases, in the best interest of the bidder.
4) If a buyer has problems, he or she can rate the seller "negative" and leave a comment such as "never received product".
5) A good strategy is to always buy a few things at once from the same buyer, as they will almost always offer you a discount on the postage.
Over the years, eBay has introduced all sorts of different auction types, in an effort to give people more options when they buy and sell their things on eBay. Large international companies, such as IBM, sell their newest products and offer services on eBay using competitive auctions and fixed-priced storefronts.
