1) If you win an auction and you've made certain assumptions without clarifying them with the seller, what is written in the item description rules.
2) On a Reserve Listing, when a bidder bids on an amount equal to or greater than the reserve amount, the amount "Currently" will rise to equal the amount of the reserve and the indication next to the amount will state "reserve met".
3) If, in a Reserve Listing, the bidder bids an amount lower than the reserve, the bid will increment up according to the rules for proxy bidding. Though the amount for "currently" will increase accordingly, the reserve indication will remain "reserve not met".
4) The amount shown as the value for "Currently" on a listing is the acual current bid price for the item. It changes each time a bidder submits a bid.
5) Learning the system and examining a seller's feedback history is a buyer's best protection.
The company's current business strategy includes increasing revenue by increasing international trade within the eBay system. Large international companies, such as IBM, sell their newest products and offer services on eBay using competitive auctions and fixed-priced storefronts.
An Interesting Fact about eBay:
